![]() Personally, though, I've worked with a producer who insists we always bounce our MD-altered track(s) into a non_MD one (the finished/tuned track) before mixdown to save both CPU/RAM demands, but also preserve the project for the long-term, should something go wrong with Melodyne or it's plist files, etc. Having said that, one's project could have 4 to 10 BGV tracks and that gets messy/tedious. ![]() This now "virgin" (un-MD plugin) track can be manipulated (cut/spliced, etc). However, if needed, you can bounce in place or record the MD changed file to another track. You alter/tune that recording, not the regions from whence it came. That's because it makes it's own "recording" of the track regions you feed into it. Yes, Melodyne is not good for moving things when doing track rearrangements, etc. ![]()
